There are many things to consider when choosing the right fireplace for your home. Types of fuel

Electric, gas or multi-fuel, but which one? For those that don’t have a chimney then the best fuel option is electric (although a flueless gas fire can be considered with a wall vent) and also electric is easy to install and requires very little maintenance.

Gas is the cheapest form to have as, unlike wood, there is very little maintenance cost in the first installation. Gas needs a flue to allow the fumes to escape. If you don’t have a chimney or a pre-fabricated flue there are balanced flue models available.
